What is Community Leaders West Yorkshire (CLWY)?

CLWY is a network of community professionals who have been through a personal and professional development program called the Community Leader Programme (CLP).

This program takes around three months to complete and upon completion members gain an ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) recognised qualification.

This is what makes CLWY different from other networks.

The shared experience of the programme builds a strong bond between members.

CLWY members are in each district of West Yorkshire working hard to make our region a safer and nicer place to live, breaking down barriers and providing a trusted link between communities and public sector organisations. We attend public events and hold regular meetings.
