Bio: I am a Lead Practitioner on the Children and young persons
team at Barca-Leeds. We are a large, third sector organisation
delivering transformational services across Leeds. The projects which
I oversee are; Connect Together (Young people’s Social Prescribing
Service). Youth Work, TFS Well-Being (supporting young people
impacted by parental substance/alcohol misuse). Well-Being Hour
(mentoring/support for young people who identify as LGBTQ+) and
Building Bridges (groupwork for young people 16-24 years,
transitioning from child to adult services). I have worked with Young
People and Families for over 15 years. I’m passionate about tackling
social injustice and providing quality support so young people and
communities can thrive!
