I have over 10 years experience in the field of Domestic Abuse. I am
a qualified IDVA, with specialist training on engaging with those who
harm and engaging with victims of DA with visual impairment (Safe
Lives).
I am a facilitator on CARA (Caution And Relationship Abuse) an
awareness session delivered 2 months apart to offenders of DA, first
time offence reported to the police. I have a DPSI in Public service
interpreting specialising in Family and Criminal law and NHS. I have
many train-the-trainer qualifications and experience working locally
in Kirklees and internationally as hosting /sending trainer for
international youth exchanges funded by Erasmus + programme.
I am from a South Asian background and understand the multiple
layers of Honour based abuse and have delivered various training and
Webinars while working with Kirklees DACET as a DA Consultant.
In 2013-17 I was running UK Ambassadors CIC.
