Bio: My name is Naim Vali, and I work with diverse communities to
promote equality and create a better future for all. I deliver EDI
(Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion) sessions, focusing on supporting
individuals from varied backgrounds. With over 18 years of
experience in substance misuse, I specialise in addiction, including
steroid use, and offer faith-based approaches if requested. I also
work from a wellbeing perspective, addressing issues like social
isolation, cancer, domestic abuse, low-level mental health, and other
taboo topics. I’ve developed training programmes, presented at
international conferences, and lectured at UK universities. My decade
of lived experience after losing my right leg enriches my work.
