(Independent Domestic Abuse Advisor) team. The primary role of an
IDVA is to conduct thorough risk assessments and create safety plans
to help survivors stay as safe as possible after experiencing domestic
abuse. I oversee the team, providing guidance and support on any
safeguarding concerns, and manage the day-to-day operations of the
team.
