Tracy Brabin, the Mayor of West Yorkshire, has pledged to make serious violence a priority and deliver on the government’s mission of halving knife crime in a decade. The spotlight on serious violence in the new Police and Crime Plan is part of the journey to make this a reality, the consultation is now open until Tuesday 30 September 2025.
