I am a Lead Practitioner on the Children and young person’s team at Barca-Leeds. We are a large, third sector organisation delivering transformational services across Leeds. I have worked with Children, young people and families for 17 years taking on roles such as emotional well-being worker, behaviour and family support as well as youth work. I’m passionate about tackling social injustice, advocating for disadvantaged communities and providing people with opportunities to thrive.

I am trained in emotion coaching and have delivered workshops to young people, parents and professionals. Our team provides high quality, targeted youth interventions which include workshops such as sexual health, stop and search, knife crime, CCE/CSE and youth violence prevention to name a few. Our work is trauma informed and tailored to the needs of the individuals we support. Our youth, family and counselling services work alongside one another. This collaborative approach ensures young people and families receive holistic support, addressing any barriers they may face as well as their social needs and underlying emotional well-being.
