Community Leaders West Yorkshire – We are a professional network of professionals who have completed an Institute of Leadership and Management ILM recognised development programme for Community Leaders in West Yorkshire. CLWY is a link between local communities and public services such as local councils, Police, NHS, West Yorkshire Violence Reduction Partnership and West Yorkshire Combined Authority. We have members active in the Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield districts of West Yorkshire.

Currently the only entry route into the West Yorkshire Community Leaders (CLWY) is through successful completion of the Community Leader Programme. The course is fully funded by the West Yorkshire Violence Reduction Partnership.

We are seeking to expand our network and will soon be recruiting twenty more community leaders for Cohort 3.
