Bio: I currently hold two very exciting Community roles. I am a
Development and Engagement Manager for the Charity New Wortley
Community Association and I am Director and project lead for
Transformers North a social enterprise running in Kirklees. Both roles
have similarities yet both are very different and I pride myself on
providing opportunities & projects for local people to get involved in
and make a difference. My roles mean I get to meet lots of
fascinating people with lots of stories and skills to learn and share
and gives me a greater understanding of barrier, issues and concerns
in some areas. I love the great outdoors and creating great spaces
for all to enjoy, meet, play, chat and have fun and coming up with
proactive projects and solutions tackle problems and create fabulous
areas in which to live.
