Five events will be held across Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds, and Wakefield.
Open to everyone, these events are an opportunity to send a clear message: violence against women and girls has no place in West Yorkshire.

Bradford
Date: Sunday 26 October
Time: 4pm – 7pm
Meeting location: Carlton Prayer Room, Carlton Building, University of Bradford
Organisers: Staying Put
The Bradford Reclaim the Night event will start at 4:30pm at the Carlton Prayer Room, Bradford University. This is followed by a walk to Centenary Square for speeches and poetry, before returning to the University and wrapping up with a performance from Soundproofbox.

Calderdale
Date: Sunday 26 October
Time: 3pm – 5:30pm
Meeting location: Mereside Centre, Shibden Park, Old Godley Ln, Halifax HX3 6XG
Organisers: WomenCentre Calderdale
At the Calderdale Reclaim the Night event, people are invited to join partners in conversation at Shibden Park from 3pm to 5:30pm. A walk through the historic grounds will take place from 4:30pm.

Kirklees
Date: Sunday 26 October
Time: 2pm – 5pm
Meeting location: Greenhead Park, Trinity Street, Huddersfield, HD1 4DT. The stalls will be held by the tennis and multi-sports courts.
Organisers: Kirklees Council and Kirklees Domestic Abuse Specialist Services
At the Kirklees Reclaim the Night event, there will be family friendly activities and stalls with support services and information from 2pm to 5pm at Greenhead Park. A walk around the park will begin at 3:45pm.

Leeds
Date: Sunday 26 October
Time: 5:30pm – 7pm
Meeting location: Outside Leeds Art Gallery, The Headrow, Leeds, LS1 3AA
Organisers: Trade Union Congress, National Education Union, and Women Friendly Leeds, representing the Women & Girls Alliance Leeds
The Leeds Reclaim the Night event will be starting from 5:30pm, with a series of speeches will be held outside Leeds Art Gallery from 5:45pm before a walk through the city centre, starting at 6pm.

Wakefield
Date: Sunday 26 October
Time: 11am- 4pm
Meeting location: Wakefield Exchange, Union St, Wakefield, WF1 3AD
Organisers: Elected councillors within Wakefield Council and EMPATH Theatre
Held at Wakefield Exchange, the Wakefield Reclaim the Night event will start at 11am, and will involve a banner making workshop. There will then be a vigil taking place at 4pm.
This will launch a month of action leading up to a further Reclaim the Night event on 27 November.
